Golf, as a varsity sport, began in the spring of 1958. It was discontinued after the 1965 spring season; was played again from spring 1975-78, and then again in the fall of 1992.
Golf began its latest “run” in 1997 and has continued to the present. The fall 1998 and 1999 teams were Colonial League Champions. The 1999 team also holds the Colonial League Tournament title.
Our golf team consists of twelve varsity players, both male and female. Matches are played on the well-manicured Green Pond Country Club, which is located adjacent to Notre Dame High School.
